All the dinged-up furniture and dirty windows made me wish they'd put a little more care into this place. But it has an indoor pool and hot tub, and the little breakfast cafe looks nice enough for an early rise freebie. Next door is a nice sports bar - Ojos Locos - with a million big TVs. All in all, a decent place to stay, but hopefully staff applies some TLC to it sometime soon.

The low ceilings and overstuffed furniture make this place feel more homey than most hotels. The lobby feels more like a living room and the dinning area has a certain country grandma feel. That being said, they're a great location with clean and spacious rooms, free hot breakfast in the morning and coffee available all day; as well, they're one of the hotels in Austin with a good-sized indoor pool and hot tub. Even more, there are a few family restaurants in walking distance, and right off the frontage road, it's easy to hop downtown. Only problem for me was the lights in the room take a while to flicker on and buzzed. At around $60 a night, this hotel is really a great option for your stay in Austin.

Comfort Inn is ideal for the traveling type. Gated to reduce noise, Comfort Inn is conveniently located off of Interstate 35 and near several restaurants including Meltzer Uptown Pub and Applebee’s, and Wal-Mart only walking distance away. The Inn provides a buffet breakfast and free WIFI with the stay. There is also an indoor pool with a hot tub, but no fitness center. The rooms are quaint and basic. However, there is plenty of counter space in the bathroom and each room comes with a refrigerator and microwave. The lobby serves hot coffee throughout the day and offers flyers and coupons for all nearby restaurants and events in the Austin area. This particular Comfort Inn is for those looking for a short stay and affordable accommodations.

This is a perfectly comfortable highway-side hotel for the price and offered amenities. The location is convenient (just off I-35 and Hwy 183), although not scenic or relaxing necessarily. The pool and whirlpool are indoors on the first floor so noise from the surrounding highways isn't a factor. A complimentary breakfast is served every day, Wi-Fi is included in the rates and a computer and printer is available in the lobby for printing out boarding passes or other basic business traveler needs.
