Having not been here in many, many years, I have recently rediscovered the seaport and it's great! I love the ice rink-- it's open until 9 pm all winter and it's surprisingly uncrowded. The retail is less thrilling, but the Seaport is charming and fun.

The National September 11th Memorial was open to the public as of September 12th, 2001. And the museum is supposed to open up on the 11th Anniversary of the murderous, dastardly attack on the World Trade Center. The Memorial is very sad, and very somber, but it stands as a testament to the never-say-die, American Spirit.
