    Nyhavn

    46 reviews

While a bit on the touristy side of things, a few cans of Tuborg (or a glass of white wine from the dozens of outside bars) with a couple good friends on a warm late afternoon will definitely set you on the Copenhagen mood.

    Christiania

    40 reviews

My visit to Christiania was kind of weird. I went there in December. Everything was pretty much closed up. I hung out in a coffee shop for a while and then walked around. Even though I heard so much about it being a free territory and really artsy and edgy, in actuality all I saw was just a bunch of ...

Pedestrian shopping district. Walk from end to end to end to end. Malls, boutiques, souvenir shops, candy shops, luxury goods scattered all around here. Definitely a nice leisure walk and shop as you go. But thing to note, Denmark is pricey. With 25% goods & services tax. So tourists, if you don't mind getting your refunds at the airport, go ...

    Rådhuspladsen

    22 reviews

The City Hall Square is the center of Copenhagen's commercial district. The Radhus itself has a World Clock. Up at the top you will see a sculpture of a girl on a bicycle, and if it's raining, you see the girl with an umbrella. Around the side of the Radhus you can find a pretty big statue of Hans Christian ...

    Vor Frelsers Kirke

    11 reviews

Located right in the center of Christianshavn this small, beautiful church sticks out because of it's spiral staircase to the top. If you look up you can see people climbing the 400 steps to the pinnacle on the OUTSIDE of the building!

    Københavns Havn

    11 reviews

Copenhagen Harbor makes for an interesting boat tour. Much of the city's history has centered on the defense of this harbor, so there's a lot for a tour guide to point out.

    Christianshavn

    8 reviews

Nice but not sure it lives up to billing. Probably wouldn't have bothered but for trouble with the trains. Easy hub on metro. But it still has cultural cachet and might be fun to explore on a city break.

    Glyptoteket

    7 reviews

While I like paintings, there is something about sculptures that just fascinate me. It must be something about the textures you can see when dealing with stone and marble in 3 dimensions. The Glyptoteket has an excellent collection of Roman and Greek sculptures and I greatly enjoyed exploring it
