    Øresund Bridge

    4.5
    6 reviews

It's a pretty nice bridge and, don't forget, a tunnel that would have been even nicer if it didn't cost so much to cross by car. Luckily, going by bus or train is cheaper and so convenient, and both Copenhagen and Malmo so worth a visit, that you just want to cross it..

    Assistens Kirkegård

An absolutely beautiful cemetery in the middle of Nørrebro. Hanging out in a cemetery might seem a bit morbid, but it's actually one of the most popular places to sit in the summer due to the beautiful, private natural spaces inside. It's one of the few relatively bike-free places in the city, and so your contact with other people seems ...

Excellent large event venue! And despite its enormous size, it was not big enough for the COP15 climate talks. People had to take turns being inside! But this place is beautiful, modern, green and a good representative of Danish ingenuity.

Along the canals that line the Islands Brygge area, at least in the summertime, you'll find hundreds of people lying out in the-almost-perennial sunshine, soaking in the rays and swimming in the cool and incredibly clean waters of the canal (they flush themselves out daily into the freezing waters of the North sea and are a mix of salt and ...

This little grey houseboat will be moving indoors after the summer of 2011...but for now it's definitely one of the most unique government supported food research labs in the world. While the staff generally come from noma restaurant, this is an independently funded entity and as such chefs from all over the nordic region come to work here. If I ...

    Kihoskh

Kihoskh is an amazing take on the typical "kiosk" or corner store. The midnight grocery-shopping crowd is quite random, which ...
