This place could make vegetarians of us all. It's probably unfair to describe vegetarian food in relation to meat and meat-eating, but I will anyway: the food is gut-filling, hearty stuff, the kind you'd expect from a Sunday roast. Except, of course, for the meat, but you don't notice that or care. Impressive.

Located in the centre of town, come lunchtime the queue for this wonderful little vegetarian hotspot is often out the door with vegetarians and carnivores alike. With a selection of main meals from quiche to lasagne, multiple salads, soups, sandwiches as well as cakes and desserts, the food here is always fresh, aromatic and enticing and always leaves you feeling like you've had a good, healthy feed. With fine portions and reasonable prices, and a daily-changing healthy menu that caters for vegans, gluten free, egg free and dairy free diets too, this cafe is definitely worth a visit.

I just might plan my next trip to Dublin around this restaurant. Wow. The reviews were good, but I did not expect the food to be this great. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants.

I ate there three times over 4 days and the quality was excellent from the lunchtime rush to my 10PM dinner.

    Meal 1: Lunch
I ordered the tomato and spring onion quiche with two side salads: garlic potato salad with hazelnuts and bulgar wheat salad with pumpkin and red onion.
The quiche was not ready yet for another 20 minutes so they gave me my side salads on a separate plate...meaning they filled the plate! Both salads were so fresh and the hazelnuts in the potato salad added such flavor that by the time the quiche came, I had totally forgotten I'd ordered it!

    Meal 2: 10PM dinner
Simple, quick but amazing carrot and white bean soup. Perfect end to a cold, rainy Dublin day.

Meal 3: Take-away for the airport
Ordered a wrap to take to the airport. While the people around me were picking at soggy airport food that cost a fortune, I was enjoying a hearty tortilla filled with sauteed veggies and a sun-dried tomato spread.

The value for your euro is amazing, the place is so centrally located, and the food is healthy AND delicious. Just another reason to head back to Dublin soon!

Great fare and even nicer since they extended to add more seats! Fantastic menu which constantly evolves. The best vegetarian restaurant in a city that definitely hasn't enough options. I tend to avoid it at lunchtime and go off peak.

Even carnivores have a hard time not being happily satiated after a visit to this award-winning vegetarian restaurant. The team of chefs caters to other dietary needs as well, including gluten-free and raw-food diets. The portions are generous and the food tasty.
