If you survive crossing Piazza Venezia on foot, you’ll need a place where you can get your rest and wind down from all the chaos on the streets. Walking into an 18th Century building and finding a 66-room hotel in such a central location makes you feel like you’re anywhere but home...the rooms are small and lack personality, but give you a clean and private place to relax.
The staff was friendly and ready to answer all of my questions. If you’re too tired to venture out into the city again for dinner, you can take advantage of The Glass bar & restaurant on the ground and first floors...or, even better, the “Tramonto Romano” terrace restaurant, where you can soak in the views and lively sounds of the eternal city. Otherwise, most of Rome’s fascinating sights, bars and restaurants are a short walk away!

This hotel would not be my first choice to stay in Rome. There are two redeeming qualities: the location and the cool cafe/bar attached to the hotel. It is well maintained, but the staff seem cold and aloof. The location of the hotel is ideal, but it is in a very touristy area, and you can hear the traffic nearby from within the hotel. There are better places for the price in Rome, but if location and convenience are more important, then there is nothing wrong with this hotel.

The Cosmopolita Hotel is a very decent offering just behind Piazza Venezia. It's comfortable , professional, and, while not extremely warm or personal, definitely a practical and convenient option.

Stayed here for a birthday weekend couple of years ago. The location is so very convenient - just steps away from Corso but still very little noise from trafic. This is just couple of blocks away from the Pantheon and its nearby alleys full of restaurants. You can quite quickly walk to Colosseum, Piazza Navone or the former Ghetto area. Hotel breakfast was better than ok even if the breakfast place felt a bit crowded at times. Room was above expectations.
