This hotel is the ultimate in old-school opulence. I've only been here for conferences and events, so I can't attest to the rooms, but I can't imagine they'd be anything but elegant given the beautiful state of the rest of the hotel. The grounds are green and gorgeous and the building itself, built in 1927, is a colonial-style estate that does not look at all worse for wear (as do many old buildings in Lima). The service is always attentive and the food at the restaurant is delicious. This is truly one of the Lima's best places to stay.
#Gogotip: The pisco sour at the bar here is known as one of the best in the country. Even if you can't afford the price tag of a room, it's worth stopping by to explore the public spaces and get a drink.Recommended for:
