    Alberta Street

0.78 mi from County Cork Public House
    10 reviews

At first I thought all the hype was for nothing. The address listed here dumps you in a fairly boring part of the neighborhood. Walk a few blocks down and suddenly you're surrounded by restaurants, pubs, amazing caf├ęs, and interesting local shops. Great area to find souvenirs.

    Townshend's Alberta Street Teahouse

0.88 mi from County Cork Public House
    3 reviews

Townshend's is a teahouse and is unique in coffee-obsessed Portland. Tea connoisseurs will appreciate the options which abound at Townshend's. They even serve bubble tea, but I would avoid it. I asked for red bean bubble tea and it resembled tapioca filled with pepto bismol.

A gift shop with interesting items and a friendly staff. We bought a really neat photograph from a local artist, they have a lot of that kind of thing there, the walls stocked with artwork that you can purchase.

    Swift Lounge

0.98 mi from County Cork Public House

Cocktails are a bit pricey but they come in a huge Mason jar. This place can get pretty crowded, even on a weekday, so be prepared for that around happy hour.

23rd & Alberta Food Cart Lot

0.87 mi from County Cork Public House
    1 review

The 23rd & Alberta Food Cart Lot is hardly the biggest of Portland's multi-cart outposts, but I'll be damned if it isn't the cutest! The Cheese Plate PDX, Uncle Tsang's Kitchen, The Sugar Shop and Garden Monsters call this picket fence-lined plot home. The occasional band or crunchy guitarist is known to take to the tiny stage here, to serenade ...

Great fabric store in the heart of Alberta. Lots of unique fabrics. A breath if fresh air for someone who only has access to JoAnn at home.

Good place to try some local brews and eat some good food. I recommend the mussel frites. The service was great here. I hope to return to try other entrees. Everything on the menu sounded so tasty.

A close friend of mine threw a birthday party at Mimosa. Let me just say it is the cutest pottery studio that I've ever been to. The space is small and compact but filled with art supplies and pots that are waiting to be designed.

    Alberta Street Public House

0.75 mi from County Cork Public House
    1 review

Alberta Street Public House is a music venue. You can tell the small concert venue used to be a place for worship due to the aisle seats. It's perfect for a low-key indie folk band interested in performing n front of a small audience.

Lovely atmosphere to enjoy some Oregon wines and some small bites to eat as well. Their pork belly dish is shown in the picture. Cheeses, truffle chips. and citrus marinated olives are also a few things I've tried, though I believe the menu often changes up a bit. Outdoor seating available when the weather is nice. Staff is very informative ...

    One Stop Sustainability Shop

0.74 mi from County Cork Public House
    1 review

Whenever I come to Portland, 4 words that I will always hear (among many) are Coffee, Pastries, Beer, and Sustainable. And sometimes on the same block or within the first few minutes of conversation. My son and I were walking along NE Alberta after breakfast and I wandered by The One Stop Sustainability Shop. My son didn't share my shopping ...

Queen Bee Creations has a somewhat small, but comfortable and nicely appointed show room, and from the street, you can see their folks making the bags through the window. The person at the counter was super friendly and I ended up with a nice Maximo wallet to keep change and paperwork for our honeymoon trip to Portugal next week. There ...

0.93 mi from County Cork Public House
    1 review

Aztec Willie is one of the main places to go salsa dancing in Portland. The dance floor is large enough to accommodate a substantial amount of swinging hipped dancers. The music is a mix of reggaeton, salsa, merengue, and bachata. They also offer salsa lessons too.

    Portland Saturday Market

1.99 mi from County Cork Public House
    39 reviews

Saturday Market has long been a favorite tourist attraction and special stop for locals, and for good reason - there are dozens (if not hundreds) of stalls of arts, crafts, food items, clothes, jewelry, knick-knacks, and anything else you can imagine - much of it one-of-a-kind and also somehow very Portland - lining alley after alley under the cover of ...

    Portland Aerial Tram

3.86 mi from County Cork Public House
    12 reviews

The tram goes up to OHSU for a pretty good view of Portland. The views of downtown are better seen while on the tram itself, and not up on the viewing areas at OHSU. Don't go during sunset, as the sun sets behind you while on the OHSU campus, and puts Portland in a shadow. Sunrise would be a great ...
