This is a great place to stay with a fun location. The rooms are nice, and the staff is very friendly. I love this location because it has easy access to public transport, and is walking distance to a lot of attractions.

They use the real bincho charcoal that imparts a nice smoky flavor. Authentic and tasty. Good for lunch too. They'll keep/store your large bottle of sake for you up to a few weeks, if you don't finish it in one sitting. The wooden sake cups are fun.

Second best macarons in town - lagging only Pierre Herme. The chocolate, caramel, and pistachio macarons are fantastic. Chocolate viennoise (hot chocolate with chantilly cream) was also richly delicious.

The Gay Hussar (which roughly translates as a good-spirited Hungarian soldier) is an old Hungarian old restaurant perfect for wild cherry soup and smoked chicken pancakes. Synonymous with politics it’s a swirl of history, gossip and culture. Dine in the bookcase-lined ‘Mick Jagger suite’, a 12-square-foot room upstairs where the rock star was famously persuaded to stand for British parliament ...
