No visit to Cozumel is complete with driving to the south end of the island to visit the national park of Punta Sur. Absolutely worth the fee. Follow the dirt road past the sea turtle egg laying zone and stop at the crocodile lagoon for your first encounter with the crocodiles and extraordinary birds that live here. In the winter, ...Popular withOutdoor

Basically a Mexican version of Wall Mart, the largest grocery store on the island, very nice produce and meat selection and a vast selection of wine, beer, and spirits. A $2-$3 taxi ride from the house, one way, or a 10 minute walk and taxi back.

100% blue agave means no chance for a hangover and good news for us! A great stop off the road for some superior tequila tasting. I loved the soursop guanabana infused tequila so much I bought a bottle. Got inebriated enough to model festive Mexican attire which made for a photograph my mother wishes to frame...

The main plaza downtown is a 15 minute walk from the villa. Enjoy the Caribbean Sea as you make your way along the waterfront street and soak up some culture as you pass shops and vendors selling their wares. Once at the Plaza you will find many shops, restaurants, bars and music is most often playing somewhere. Definitely worth checking ...Popular withOutdoor

This is one of my favorite spots in Cozumel. It's a beach club located on the East side of the island. They also ...Popular withFamilies

Honestly, I've dived alot in these waters, with different shops, and Scuba Tony is one of my favorites on the island; they offer personalized service, small group sizes, instructor-only led dives, and there's a premium placed on safety. The times I've gone out with the ...Popular withOutdoor

Just one block from the villa, Chedraui Shopping Mall is a one stop shop for all your needs. The large grocery store features a deli, bakery, pharmacy, liquor sales and many other items. It is much like a mini Walmart. You can find many American products here. The mall also has a movie theater which runs movies in English with Spanish ...

Great fun, especially for families and definitely worth every penny! This is a true submarine that dives to 100 feet and cruises along the amazing reef. A fantastic way to enjoy the wonders of the ocean for the young or those who are fearful of snorkeling or scuba. It's a fun and comfortable ride. Ladies - you will have to ...Popular withFamiliesAdventure
