Location Location Location!
The venue itself was nothing quite spectacular.... but that is where it ends.. everything else about the hotel is nice beyond compare. The lake is right there, the views are nice and it is located in walking distance of nearly everything in downtown.
My sister and I had walked out in the brisk winter air and since we didnt ski at the time ended up watching Moulin Rouge. What can I say, it was what was showing at the time.

Queenstown does not have a ton of hotel lodging options, but this is at the top-end of the available options. The hotel has a handful of rooms with a lake view, but they are offered at a premium rate. The rooms were comfortable and with a simple, mostly white decor. The lobby was nothing special and was mostly quiet. The conceirge service is able to help you with adventure activity bookings and their service is friendly, however; you can find similar services at any lodging facility in Queenstown since the whole town profits from tourism. The hotel has a modern design to the architecture and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Queenstown is a very walkable town so you get anywhere you need to go with a short walk. If you have a lake view, you probably have one of the best views in town so this hotel definitely has that advantage. Since Queenstown does tend to attract a lot of young backpackers, it is nice to stay here and isolate yourself from that crowd if you have outgrown that phase.
