A super small bar with a band packed into it. There are buses of tourists coming in and out of here all day everyday. Hemingway's writing is still on the wall, "my mojitos at La Bodeguita, and my daiquiris at El Floriditia. Everything is a bit expensive but the mojitos are actually really good.Popular withAdventureLocalHistory

Super tasty food, and not yet on anybody's map so find it yourself. Walking distance from Havana Libre, it looks like any other apartment building but when you take the elevator to the top there is a beautiful open balcony with succulent Cuban food.Popular withLuxuryTrendstersFoodies

Duck into this converted private dining room (the house is still private) for some of the most authentic food in Havana. The US is generally thought to have better Cuban food than Cuba, but you won't feel that way at Palladar. Lots of locals were hanging out with the staff, lending a casual, welcoming feel to the place.

Once upon a time there used to be 26 different flavors on the menu of this ice cream place. The last time I was there I had to wait in line for 4 hours and the only flavor they had for Cubans was vanilla. The Chocolate and Strawberry were reserved for tourist only.Popular withFoodies

Great food right on the prado by el capitlio nacional. The entrance is deceptive, but inside in very nice. Great service, and great prices. expecially for such high quality food. Got to wear sleeves to enter though (learned the hard way).Popular withLocalTrendstersFoodies
My favorite place to eat in Havana. Right on the Malecon, the top level allows you to sit outside on the balcony with a great view or inside with airconditioning. Upstairs has seafood, and more international cuisine, while downstairs there is pizza, pasta, and grill. Great service, and good prices for the value.Popular withLocalLuxuryFoodies

The most particular experience to have in Cuba is to eat at its Paladares, privately owned restaurants in Cuban homes. These are the only places where you'll find chef like dishes that you won't find in the Cuban stores. And La Esperanza is perhaps Havana's best one. Not an ordinary Cuban home by any means, the interior of the house ...Popular withDesignLocalFoodies

Amazing Paladar, in what looks like a beautiful, but broken down old building.. you go upstairs and its a stunning old room turned into a family restaurant. Was one of our favorites in HavanaPopular withFamilies

Nice place to sit, right ont he plaza, and the place itself is quite nice. The beer however is not good, and the menu is limited and touristy. The service when we were there was horrible.
