I had the pleasure of going to the Musuem of Jurassic Technology for their annual holiday party. One part art, one part hoax, and one party mystery, it is all amazing. Beautiful architecture, inventive and funny exhibits, and great people.

    Blind Barber

    10 reviews

Shave & a haircut...........two bits! Flashback to the Prohibition Era, where Speakeasies offered libations clandestinely to avoid the long arm of the law. From the outside, Blind Barber looks like a simple, full service barber shop, where customers receive a complimentary cocktail with their cut. The barbers know just the cut a guy needs to make women swoon. However, make ...

It's your usual gathering of hipsters... now on the Westside (so maybe the hipsters who can't get their act together enough to be on the Eastside). But really, there is nothing amazing about BFW. Nice atmosphere, slightly overpriced drinks.

I love Target! It's a great place to shop for clothes, anything for the house and food if there is nothing else closer! If you are moving somewhere and need to shop for house supplies, furniture and decoration at an affordable price, that is the place to be!

Took a Friday first-time-student class with my friend last year. It was way better than the intro class I took somewhere in hollywood. The class is located behind the donut shop (you'll see a big sign that says "Secret Pole Dance Studio"). The classroom is clean and cozy with mirrors. If you're a lil nervous then there's some alcohol in ...

A mall with a Target? What else do you need? ;) I love that I can get shopping done in such a variety of stores here. There are always new stores popping up and the place is well-maintained. I hear before the renovations, it was pretty run-down so I'm glad they revamped it. There's also a Best Buy inside in ...

We made it a triple date (me/fiance, bro/girlfriend, sister/husband - yes, we are all at different stages of relationships - pretty cool). FOOD: * Hummus - served with vegetable chips and carrots - it was alright. Standard hummus you'd get at stores. * Pulled Pork Sliders (2) - pickled ...

Growing up in Culver City there were 3 theatres, The Culver, The Meralta and The Palms, all within 3 blocks of each other.
