I enjoyed my stay here. I liked the layout of their facilities. There is a pub/restaurant attached with great parties everyday. They have free internet and computers to use. The room was comfortable and they had baggage storage, which comes in handy especially when you head out on the trek to Machu Picchu. The location is great and is an ...

The Hotel Los Marqueses is very conveniently located near both the Plaza Armas and the Plaza San Francisco. Walking distance to food and entertainment/shopping. From the welcoming cocao tea to the comfortable rooms to the breakfast spread, they really took good care of us. We stayed here both before and after our Inka trail hike and they stored our luggages ...

At just a few steps off of the Plaza de Armas, El Peregrino's location is one of its pluses. But it can also be a minus, especially when marching bands are practicing on the Plaza at 7 am. But the lovely rooms, reasonable rates, delicious breakfasts, and welcoming staff overshadow those menacing tubas.

We had a great time at the Amaru Hostal. There are many different classes of room - shared, private, with bath or without - and each one is unique, so you can look around and find just the right combination of comfort and value. The whole place is incredibly charming, with two courtyards full of flowers. The (free!) hot breakfast ...

Located high up at the top of San Blais, Encantada is worth the effort to reach. We stayed here on our last night in Cusco- a little splurge after four days of hiking the Inca Trail. The hotel is as nice as it looks in pictures, with rooms outfitted with modern decor and comfortable beds, nice lobby and dining area, ...

We stayed at this place upon returning from Machu Picchu. It's a very new hotel with modern features. The rooms are cozy, and ours had a balcony. It's very inexpensive for what you get. There are nice flat screen TVs, cable, soft and comfortable beds and friendly staff. The breakfast is made to order so a nice woman made us ...

I passed through Cusco on a couple of different occasions in the spring of 2007. I spent most of my time (which amounted almost three weeks) at Samay Wasi. It is located on high ground above the town proper where you can soak in the views and the sunshine from their open-air terrace. They offer dorm beds, a simple breakfast, ...

Hostal Marani rules. First off, they were at the airport like they said they would be, rescuing me from the wolf-like travel agents, trying to sell me rooms and tours in town. With my jet-lag, little sleep, and zero Spanish skills, I would have been thorougly ripped off. Hostal Marani is run by a wonderful Dutch woman, Tineke, who also ...
