    Pachapapa

    6 reviews

Pachapapa is a very warming restaurant at the San Blas neighborhood. They have good drinks, good service and really good Peruvian food. They have an internal and an external dining room. For those who happen or choose to sit outside, they have heaters and blankets for when it's cold. If you're up for it, ask to try the chicha de ...

    Inka Grill

    6 reviews

I found this a reasonable restaurant at the Plaza de Armas. It looks very trendy and chic, but the food is just ok and prices are relatively low. They serve some common local dishes like the Ají de Gallina and several Pisco drinks, which I didn't try, but the bar looked promising.

    Cicciolina

"Local" cuisine made for tourists. Menu and daily specials completely in English. I prefer to eat authentic local food while traveling, so I wouldn't completely recommend this place. Nothing against the food (tapas were amazing), but it's very Westernized.

    Paddy Flaherty's Irish Pub

    7 reviews

Paddy Flaherty's claims to the be the highest elevated Irish Pub in the world and regardless of the truth behind that fact, this is a great touristy pub to relax and hang out in. I would especially recommend it as a place to celebrate with your fellow trek-mates after completing Machu Picchu. The beer and drinks are cheap, but nothing ...

    Jack's Café

    5 reviews

Jack's was one of my favorite restaurants in Cuzco because all the dishes use really fresh produce and it is a good alternative to all the Peruvian restaurants in the area. This restaurant is expat run and operated and so it naturally attracts a lot of tourists. I think this is a perfect lunch spot that will provide you with ...

    Chicha

    4 reviews

I can't say how much I like Gastón Acurio's food and restaurants but the Chicha in Cusco absolutely blew my mind. Like it's brother in Arequipa, Chicha respects local recipes and ingredients, by preparing the dishes with the same tradition from centuries of history and by buying the produce from local farmers. The starter potato bread was the best and ...

LIMO Cocina Peruana & Pisco Bar

    2 reviews

LIMO is a modern Peruvian restaurant located next to the Plaza del Armas. It has a romantic ambiance, with windows looking out the plaza. The restaurant seemed prepared for tourists, having available English menus. The menu was very interesting and I wished I could have tried more things. The restaurant served its version of ceviche, tiraditos, classic Peruvian meat and ...

    Fallen Angel Restaurant

    3 reviews

Clearly I didn't get it! It's certainly unique. But I found it garish and over the top. Hip young people may love it...but I'm definitely not a fan!

    Baco

    2 reviews

Known for its wine, the decor of this restaurant was really nice. My friend had the alpaca burger, and they did not like it. I had the pork belly, and it was good. I would go back here, and definately try more of their wine selection. I liked the vibe. It is the "sister restaurant" of Cicciolina.

    Tunupa Restaurante Bar & Grill

    2 reviews

This is a very touristy restaurant overlooking the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. They have a show at least some evenings at 8pm with folk dancing and a band that plays with traditional Peruvian instruments. They have a buffet and also offer a menu. They have cuy for 70 soles. I was not a fan of it, but my friend ...

    Map Cafe

    1 review

I enjoyed my meal at Map Cafe. It was definitely upscale dining. This locations is perfect for those staying at Monasterio or La Casona as it is only steps away. The dining area is a glass enclosure situated in a colonial courtyard. Cuisine is Novo Andino and international. I recommend this location for a special lunch or dinner or romantic ...

    Los Toldos

    1 review

Best place for pollo a la brasa in Cusco! It's popular with locals and tourists alike. It's a short jaunt from the main, historic square and depending on the time it gets crowded. Many laud the salad bar, but I came here on a mission for some chicken. The bestselling dish is the quarter chicken with fries.

    Trotamundos Cafe

    1 review

Great little cafe with a perfect view of the Cathederal and Plaza de Armas. Attractive interior but the real draw here is the view. Can't believe most tourists are across the plaza at Starbucks.

    Greens

    1 review

This was our tour guide's favorite restaurant in Cusco, and I found it delicious also. Very clean with excellent food. Also a great place for those who are vegetarians. This was where we ate when we first got together as a group and the large upstairs was great place to get acquainted.

    Marcelo Batata

This is a fantastic restaurant! The Alpaca tenderloin was delicious and served with such a great combination of sauces. There is a rooftop dining area with a view of Cusco as well. Our server was incredibly nice and gave us a brief history of the dishes we ordered.

    Tupay Restaurant

    1 review

Solid food served in exceptional surroundings with impeccable service. The private opera performances here are tasteful and don't feel touristy. Worth checking ahead to try to catch one. They are relatively short, not intrusive, and add to the overall charm of the restaurant. One of the pricier options in town but worth the splurge.

    Meli Melo

    1 review

Great local empanadas restaurant. Pop in for empanadas, a variety of pastries, and fruit drinks. Good, solid, inexpensive and you will be one of the only tourists there. A full meal is less than $5-6 USD. A great place to practice your Spanish or just point at the case. Loved the saltenas.

    Killa Wasi

Killa Wasi — a charming guesthouse on the main street in Cusco. It offers functional rooms, clean and comfortable, though cold on winter nights. It is on ‘El Sol’, a very busy street filled with shops, travelers and vendors, and within walking distance to major points of interest in town. The service was friendly. It is a good value.
