Like other Kimpton Hotels I've stayed at, Cypress is a warm and inviting boutique hotel that is also pet friendly. It's an ideal hotel for Silicon Valley business travelers as it's located in the heart of SV, just down the street from Apple HQ.
Their restaurant, Park Place, offers tasty American food with a nice setting. If it's warm out, you can dine outside on their cozy patio. The hotel also offers a hosted wine happy hour from 5-6pm every day.
Rooms are nicely appointed with comfy beds, flat screen tv, work station and free wifi for Kimpton loyalty members. There's also free parking in the garage, though space is limited.

This is a nice boutique hotel in a pretty unlikely place - Cupertino of all places. The restaurant here is great, though - the food is always good, although the service can be slow at times. A good place to go for after work happy hour drinks as well.

I stayed here once. Why? I am not sure. It's like 20 minutes from my house and we ended up booking an executive suite room for like $250. It doesn't make ANY sense but regardless, I stayed here.
I don't remember much about checking in but the hotel has the smallest parking lot in the world. I should say garage but either way it holds like 1/5 of the people who might actually be staying at the hotel at any one time. You will not find any parking if you arrive late in the day and will be forced to valet, which sucks since parking is a no charge from what I remember.
They did leave some nice amenities in the executive suite for us and the view was pretty good for what you can get ... in Cupertino.
The beds were extremely plush. I mean extremely plush. As in you could get lost in it if you're not careful, haha. The bathrooms are nice and I can't remember if there was free wifi or not but we definitely used the wifi.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay at a very nice hotel, I wouldn't pay to stay here again tho!
