Da Michele is located two blocks away from the Fontana di Trevi, making it less crowded than the other pizzerie nearby. Their ingredients are listed on the menu board, and there are very few: flour, salt, water and a two others I can't remember. Bottom line: This pizza is classically made.
While it isn't a perfectly refined slice, they certainly hit the spot if you're hungry. I ordered a slice of the stuffed spinach pizza and one smaller slice of the Margherita.
I was stuffed like a moose in the Pacific Northwest. This is saying a lot as I hadn't eaten all day. The cost was 6,67€, approximately. Bottles of beer, seemingly big if the ones along the wall are something to go by, cost 3,50€. Da Michele serves other items like supplì (1€) and crochetti as well.
If you need a small snack or a filling slice of no-nonsense pizza near the Trevi Fountain, Da Michele is your spot.
