Not a bad place to stay. It's close to Lombard Street and also has good views of the Golden Gate Bridge if you have an upper room that faces that direction. Parking is kind of awkward as far as finding where you need to park, but not a deal breaker. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nicer than I expected and have a modern feel. The walls are rather thin and you can hear your neighbors doing what they do.

da Vinci Villa surprised me. It's a luxury boutique hotel with a facade of an exterior corridor hotel. Huge rooms, modern decor, friendly security and staff members; this villa is a gem. Parking is $28.50/night, and Wi-Fi and breakfast is complimentary. There's a lounge, comprehensive fitness center with a sauna and outdoor heated pool, poolside lounging chairs (although with San Francisco weather, you can probably only use those a few times a year on a random heatwave day), and a hotel restaurant. Nearby on Polk Street in Russian Hill are some great eateries, nightlife, and boutiques. If you're looking to stay at a luxury hotel away from the hustle and bustle of downtown/ Union Square where the major large luxury chains are, da Vinci Villa might be for you. Each room has a tv, writing desk, coffee/tea maker and some suites have couches.

The hotel was convenient in every way. Great location. It is close to Fisherman's Wharf and the Marina area (about 15 min walk). Rooms were confortable, clean and nice. Having available park for our car was a plus. We didn't get the chance to try it's restaurant.
