    Grand Hyatt DFW

    Grand Hyatt DFW

    Class:
    8 reviews
Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

This was a good hotel if you have a stopover in Dallas and need an airport hotel. The airline had lost my luggage and because this hotel caters to businessmen the Front Desk offered me an amenitie kit. That saved the day! It is a mid-range hotel that is clean with all the amenities that you would expect from a ...

In a word: posh. Nothing about this place is typical, from the attitude of every employee to the lighting to the layout. It is clearly modern and distinctly vibrant. If you decide to stay here I have no doubt your every wish will be fulfilled (within reason). The atmosphere is just sexy, and artfully so. Celebrities should stay here because ...

    The Joule, Dallas

    Class:

Excellent! - 91% of guests recommend

The Joule can best be described as plush sophistication, you enter from Main Street, a very busy, noisy street and into this lobby and it’s like you’ve entered another place and with the famous Charlie Palmer Steakhouse along with a lobby wine bar and the PM Lounge, it’s a great place for both business travelers and locals to come and ...

This is my retreat during the Dallas Margarita Ball. Despite the ball being an all-encompassing, raucous event, the staff handles everything to perfection. Even from the street, you don't quite grasp how huge this hotel is but it lends itself to support an event of that size while simultaneously allowing a peaceful reprieve from the revelry. I had a twin ...

    Hotel ZaZa

    Class:

Excellent! - 93% of guests recommend

When you think of uptown as an attitude or a lifestyle, then this hotel is the epitome of that. It's hip in a serious way, trendy without being kitschy, and ornate without being gaudy. It's pretty much the type of place where you drive up, drop off your car, and forget about the rest. Then it's just time to enjoy ...

    The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa

    The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa

    Class:
    6 reviews

The Stoneleigh is one of my favorite boutique hotels in Uptown. It’s fun, posh, and historic. I’ve visited for a friend’s birthday festivities in the Bolla Bar (which now T/X, by the way), and another time I had the good fortune of visiting the spa. The decor is a modern spin on 1920s Art Deco and the result is both ...

With a name like The Adolphus, it would be hard for anything but old-world luxury and opulence to come to mind. From my first step into the historic building, in every direction I looked the surroundings were bathed in rich, dark wood, tapestries, brass and ostentatious chandeliers. It’s easy to feel like you need a sport coat just to check ...

Charming! The room was nicely renovated and comfortable. The view of downtown Dallas is spectacular. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This is one classy hotel, y'all. I know they would dislike me putting it that way, but I couldn't resist it. There's nothing about this hotel that hints that it is in the heart of Texas, and I'm sure they did that on purpose. There were many airline pilots checking in, and many different ethnicities milling about. Not that this ...

    The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas

    Class:
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

As a native New Yorker, I always expect a Ritz-Carlton to be an opulent and historic building that brings in modern flair and luxury. Dallas’ Ritz is actually new construction in the heart of Uptown--a domineering sand-hued high-rise that demands attention. While definitely not historic, the Ritz is definitely on par when it comes to luxury. As you enter, a ...

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with an ultra-modern building nestled inside the bones of an 85 year old railroad depot on the historic register, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised with the blend of old and new. The design concept was planned around structural pillars, high ceilings, open floor plans and a loft like feel that has recently ...

At one time, this was one of the areas nicer hotels. But times have caught up with this place and now it has grown tired old and just plain dated. The hotel bar is in need of a makeover and the rooms are hit and miss with many of them not even offering a single window to the outside world.

    Renaissance Dallas Hotel

The Renaissance Dallas is the Design District's most recognizable landmark. "The Lipstick Building" earned its nickname because of its distinctive shape and cool, earthy color. This is actually one of my favorite places to "staycation" because the room rates are often reasonable. Though considered an old property by modern Dallas hotel standards, the Renaissance stays competitive with a sleek, modern ...

Dallas Hotel Insider
A hot spot for food, shopping, sports, and of course, the world-famous Rodeo and State Fair, Dallas is a very exciting city. That Texas pride is definitely alive and well here, but the locals are also known for their extremely friendly and welcoming attitudes, even if you are just passing through the airport. Dallas also offers some really fun choices for food. The tasty mix of Texas barbecue, Mexican, and Tex Mex restaurants makes this a great city for foodies to enjoy various twists on the classic fare. After shopping, munching and enjoying the rowdy nightlife, Dallas has you covered with several convenient hotel options so you can rest up before the rodeo. The Grand Hyatt DFW is a top choice for its classy accommodations and good location. The W Dallas Victory and the Sheraton Dallas are two other very nice hotels in the area that offer similar perks.

Things to Do in Dallas
Shopping is a big deal in Dallas, so it definitely deserves a big mall. The Galleria Dallas is very similar to the Galleria in Houston in that it is absolutely massive, offering an incredible variety of stores and even an ice-skating rink. Don’t shop ‘til you drop though, because you’ll definitely need to get your cowboy boots on and kick around the Rodeo, as well as the Dallas State Fair. Both are huge Texas traditions and perfect All-American fun with tons to see and do. Another top attraction here is the Dallas World Aquarium, which is gorgeously designed and filled with an exciting variety of marine life. Dallas is also the place to be if you are into sports. With professional teams in many sports including basketball, football, soccer, baseball, hockey, and rugby, Dallas is the perfect city to enjoy a game. When nighttime comes around, a wild nightlife scene comes to life in the various bars and clubs in Dallas. Whether you’re here to shop, party, explore, or cheer on your team, Dallas has plenty to offer, and many convenient hotel accommodations to make it a stress-free trip.
