    The French Room

1321 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202
    1 review

#BeOut #BeStuffed if you’re feeling fancy-pants, try the super-luxurious French Room in the historic Adolphus, the Grande Dame of Dallas hotels. The ornate, Beaux-Arts dining room is gorgeous and the food is impeccable – just make sure that you aren’t the unfortunate soul who has to pick up the check.

    Cosmic Cafe

2912 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas, TX 75219
    2 reviews

Cosmic Cafe is great both for its vegetarian fare and for creating community with events including yoga, meditation, dance, and poetry. Menu is heavily influenced by Indian food, but also includes some great veggie takes on Tex-Mex fare. Try the spinach enchiladas or, my fave, the bombay sage.

#BeStuffed This charming, authentic Italian restaurant in Highland Park emphasizes seasonal cuisine and supports local producers. The pizza from their wood burning is no joking matter.

    8687 N Central Expy # 2404, Dallas, TX 75225-4571, United States

Yes, please open one in the Bay Area! Gelato galore, one could not decide! I love how they have many different fun flavors like caramel bacon, blueberry cheesecake, or lavender. They also make a pretty mean espresso. We were here for hours playing some of the board games they had on hand. High five to the staff for going the ...

    1 review

Rosemont, a modern diner located in the Deep Ellum nightlife district just east of downtown, has a breakfast and lunch menu as straightforward as its clean and simple interior. Chef Tracy Miller’s American fare features waffles, chicken salad sandwiches, and powdered doughnuts.

    Blue Goose Cantina

2905 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX, United States
    3 reviews

The Blue Goose Cantina has great Tex-Mex fare. No trip to Texas is complete without Tex-Mex and margaritas, and the 'ritas here are fantastic. The cheese fondue and sangria are great too. Check out the events page of their website in advance for live music and holiday events-- Day of the Dead and St. Patrick's Day are two big ones.

4140 Lemmon Ave, Dallas, TX 75219
    2 reviews

My husband and I go to Gloria's on a regular basis. We love to eat out and this is def. one of our favorites. The Margaritas are great, the chips, salsa, and black beans are free and absolutely endless. (no really, they don't even ask, there are special waiters that go around and refill you all night), and the atmosphere ...

    Maple & Motor

    4810 MAPLE AVE
    2 reviews

#BeStuffed The line doesn’t snake out of the door of this teensy joint for no reason. This budget-friendly burger joint is often described as having the best burger in town, neck in neck with Wingfield's.

    Cheesecake Factory

    7700 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225
    2 reviews

If you can't find something yummy to eat here, check your pulse. Yes, it's theme-y and overdone inside but there's no denying that the food is fantastic. I've been a number of times but must recently went for a girlfriend's birthday and I was pleased at the lighter fare menu that had some pretty sweet options under 550 calories.

    The Cedars Social

1326 South Lamar Street, Dallas, TX
    2 reviews

Super-cool bar located just south of Downtown that is really worth the wait on the weekends. Better yet, make a reservation. The farm-to-table menu changes regularly and the drinks are prepared by top-notch mixologists. These guys care about their craft. The place has great ambiance (reminds me of a sweet basement apartment) and a firepit on the back patio.

    1 review

Ask any Dallas resident about Nick & Sam’s and the response will likely be the same--raving. Menu favorites include the 16 oz bone in prime filet, diver scallops, and fried lobster. For a unique private dining experience, have your dinner in the wine room.

    Cafe Brazil Addison

4930 Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX 75254

Tasty cafe that serves a full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sandwiches are good and so are the crepes. In the fall the pumpkin pancakes are a favorite. They also have a wide selection of coffee to drink or take home.

    Private Social

3232 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, TX 75204, United States
    2 reviews

I was fortunate enough to receive an invitation for the grand opening of Private Social. Top Chef contestant, Tiffany Derry, is the executive chef and owner and has created a restaurant targeted for the Dallas Socialites but with a menu that includes home-cooked favorites like fried-chicken. The restaurant decor is very dark and vegas-like and would be a great date ...

    Cru - A Wine Bar

3699 McKinney Avenue, Suite 107, Dallas, TX
    2 reviews

This location is very lively and most weekends busy with an interesting mixed crowd ranging from 21+ year olds to 60+ year olds in an upscale environment. The wine selection is not very extensive, but they have very good wine choices. The surprising ingredient of this place is their mouth watering appetizers! Cru definitely makes it a good experience to ...

At first the idea of a sushi bar buffet seemed a little scary to me, but once I visited this place I realized they had it figured out. It was quick, easy, fresh, delicious, and affordable.

    Taco Borracho

    300 N Akard
    1 review

I just finished a fish taco, and it was super cheap and extremely tasty. The kitchen is out in the open, so you can make eye contact with the person cooking your food. I'm positive I'll be going back...often.
