Aside from typical mall shopping experiences there is an ice skating rink in the middle of the mall. There are a number of stores that are only available at the Galleria in the D/FW area. There are additional shopping areas nearby with more boutique options if looking for more.

    Dallas World Aquarium

    29 reviews

Truly one of the most unique aquariums in the country. The aquarium is located in heart of downtown Dallas, the interior of the aquarium is organized around a walking trail that spirals downwards. It almost feels like you've entered a tropical forest surrounded by both plant and animal life. The different animals (monkeys, birds, turtles) roams around freely in the ...

The food is horrible and overpriced! Save yourself money and pack a lunch! It is all frozen, tasteless greasy fried food. FYI , for those who like beer they sell local Deep Ellum draft or canned at the BBQ Shack in the patio next to Serengetti Grill. ( in the Wilds of Africa exhibition ) The zoo is ok. Nothing ...

    Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

    19 reviews

The Arboretum will dazzle you with flowers, scents, and beauty. Take your camera and enjoy. My favorite time of year is in the fall when they have the pumpkin displays. On Thursday evenings in the summer they have outdoor concerts where you can bring your own picnic meal & wine or beer. It's a great place for everyone to enjoy. ...

    Reunion Tower

    14 reviews

The tower is a revolving one that has a restaurant on the top floor. When I went, the food was nothing to write home about and was relatively expensive. The view is wonderful, particularly at night.

    Dallas Museum of Art

While Dallas is hardly a center of high culture, this museum is surprisingly good, and one of my favorite places to visit while in the city. Their contemporary art collection is particularly excellent.

The Dallas Arts District is booming. It's getting bugger and bigger each year. Dallas' art scene has arrived and it's something you've got to see when you are in Dallas. You can take in an opera, a symphony, a ballet, art shows, and more!

This is a truly beautiful campus. There are free student and public events here monthly. Take a stroll though the green campus and take in a fun event. Author David Sedaris enjoys doing readings here. It's a fun place to visit. It is also the future home of the controversial, George W. Bush Presidential library.

Though a longtime resident of Dallas, I only recently visited the Nasher for the first time. It is a wonderful museum. Not large, but what they have is very nice. The movie presentation is a must, as it is very informative regarding the collection, the Nasher family, the connection to Northpark Mall and it gives you the opportunity to see ...
