    Galleria Dallas

    43 reviews

HUGE mall, but hey this is Texas. I walked through here on my way to work while I was in the area. There is an ice rink in the middle and the typical type of shops you see at a mall like this. Fairly central to North Dallas.

    The Sixth Floor Museum

Although the building itself isn't that impressive, the tour through it, giving firstly details of Kennedy's presidency as well as the world he lived in and after that a timeline from the moment of his assassination through what happened after the fatal shot was fired is really something that hits you hard. Take the time to read the text next ...

This zoo, though relatively small, manages to pack a lot into its space while still trying to maintain good habitats for the animals it has. The reptile house has one of the most impressive collections that I have seen.

Although they are in the process of building onto the gardens, I can't complain. There is always something new to be found and do. The brunches for mothers day, fairytale adventures, readings and games for the kids, wandering the garden, watching the fish in the ponds, the gift shop, and enjoying the many waterfalls never seem to get old. 15 reviews

The main Perot Museum branch does have several levels of themed exhibitions. The parking for the museum is limited and non-museum parking can be expensive, so that is something to watch out for. The museum may also be closed to walk-in admission at certain times, so going ahead and getting a reservation would not be amiss. The permanent exhibits themselves ...

This is a truly beautiful campus. There are free student and public events here monthly. Take a stroll though the green campus and take in a fun event. Author David Sedaris enjoys doing readings here. It's a fun place to visit. It is also the future home of the controversial, George W. Bush Presidential library.
