So much to see here. The grounds are HUGE!! You can't do it all in one day since there is so much to see.

Great place to take the kids too! Let them go play in the Frog Fountains during a blistering Texas summer :)

The 66-acre gem is located on the shores of White Rock Lake, on the land of an estate with 21,000 square feet! A lot of dedication and love was put into making this garden a reality, and it shows. The McCasland Sunken Garden feels like you’ve stepped out the back door of an Italian estate. The Fern Dell has a deliciously spooky feel to it in the misty morning, with a cozy bench near the upper pond. Bring a book and take a moment for yourself in this spectacular garden.

I just love the Dallas Arboretum. I have visited here several times while visiting my kids, and we all enjoy a relaxing time in the park. I go back here many times.

Although they are in the process of building onto the gardens, I can't complain. There is always something new to be found and do. The brunches for mothers day, fairytale adventures, readings and games for the kids, wandering the garden, watching the fish in the ponds, the gift shop, and enjoying the many waterfalls never seem to get old. I love bringing a book and finding a quiet place on nice hot days. :)

Bring a picnic, camera with lots of memory and your walking shoes. So much to see and do here, you will find it difficult to get bored. Best times to visit is the early spring and fall for best foliage and flora. Well worth a visit for families and friends!

The gardens were gorgeous. We found Snow White wandering the grounds. The kids were pleasantly surprised. Each fairy tale castle was unique and displayed the real story before Disney glorified them. :) the bullfrog fountains were amazing. And the added Cinderella carriage photo op was awesome. Would def love to see it in the spring.

Beautiful gardens to walk through. They are always showing different exhibits so there is something new to see every couple of months.

The Arboretum is absolutely one of my favorite places to visit in Dallas. It's a great place to escape the city bustle and slow things down in a gorgeous setting.

The spring and fall the Arboretum has special exhibits worth visiting. During the Christmas holiday season they also do regular events one the weekends.

The Arboretum will dazzle you with flowers, scents, and beauty. Take your camera and enjoy. My favorite time of year is in the fall when they have the pumpkin displays. On Thursday evenings in the summer they have outdoor concerts where you can bring your own picnic meal & wine or beer. It's a great place for everyone to enjoy.
