What an impressive Hotel.
It's huge, It's part of a complex of buildings.
I was in Dallas for a seminar.
Check in was a breeze.
I got to the room and it was perfect for business travelers.
The bed was very comfortable.
Their was a desk you can do your work.
Flat screen TV for your viewing entertainment.
The conference rooms were across the hotel.
The breakfast and lunch buffet that the hotel catered was good.
There were some fast food restaurants on the bottom levels, if you wanted something fast.
All in all, I had a good time at this hotel and look forward to future visits.Recommended for:

Three years ago, Marriott bought assumed the space of an aging Westin in the Plaza of the Americas and the space hasn’t been the same since. No experience has gone untouched during renovations--from the chic Centric Bar & Restaurant to the hallways to the guest rooms. Everything is fresh, modern and welcoming. Despite being a workhorse that shares the Plaza of the Americas with business towers, the hotel manages to keep the focus on comfort--even down to the lounge music playing in the lobby. You actually don’t even need to leave the plaza for much. There’s extensive convention space, shops, restaurants and even a skybridge over to the towers across the street. It’s also conveniently located on the DART light rail route for easy access throughout the city.Recommended for:

Rich eccentrics, take note: if you can afford it you can live in this place. It is a massive, multi-tower complex that houses a full size mall with a dozen restaurants, various shops of all kinds, high-end hotels, mid-range hotels, commercial office buildings, and conference centers. And all of this is right in the heart of a vibrant downtown.
I'm pretty sure that everything you need could be provided for you by concierge or within walking distance without ever a stepping outside. This is actually pretty appealing during the summer months when the heat and humidity can get a little overwhelming.
The hotel is as good as you would expect from a flagship Marriott. There is a large valet service with attentive bellhops, and classy front desk with surprisingly-helpful staff, and a warm bar/restaurant just inside the front door. And this is before you step through the back door and enter the incredible indoor area. Be prepared to look up.Recommended for:
