Delva e Dito is a famous restaurant at São Paulo, that specialize in local food. Located in a really nice neighborhood this place is great. They are ready or tourist as they have English menus and waiter that can speak English too. The only detail is that is not cheaper at all, just to give you an idea a desert is 26 reais and a regular dish is more or less 50 or 70.
If you have a business diner this place can be a really good option.

The restaurant took Brazilian home made cooking and refined it to gourmet standards. I served a moqueca (an Afro-Brazilian casserole) containing fresh fish and shellfish cooked in palm oil and coconut milk, very rich and creamy. A high quality restaurant with prices to match

Another restaurant of the world known chef Alex Atala. A great place for lunch or dinner with friend or even on business. Late at night it's is served the famous "Galinhada". The dish on this picture is "Pudim de Leite Condensado", a brazilian dessert that brings everyone back into childhood memories. Taste and culture coming together.

Alex Atala - owner of the restaurant D.O.M., nominated the fourth best restaurant in the world - has made Dalva e Dito a hotspot on saturday's nights. He has transformed a simple dish - stewed chicken - into a must in gastronomy. I've been there a couple of times. Sometimes it was very good and sometimes just ok. But the atmosphere was very nice, with some musicians playing good brazilian songs among the costumers.
