It's really easy to get sensory overload in Morocco--so much decoration everywhere, and mopeds speeding around. So it was great to head back to this very simply done place at the end of the day, and let my eyeballs rest on white walls and muted colors. The location is excellent--in the middle of a proper neighborhood, not the touristy souk zone. And the owner of the place (and several other riads) is a Moroccan (rare! most riad owners are expats) who was one of the first people to start restoring houses in the Marrakech medina. Service is very hands-off--you feel more like you're staying at someone's house--but I always found people around to answer questions when I needed something.Recommended for:
