Had a delightful, pre-fixe brunch here, which consists of an entree, a cocktail, dessert and tea or coffee. The omelette (chevre, spinach and tomato) was pretty good, but it was the home fries that shone (and not because of the grease - they were relatively un-greasy): Perfectly crispy with just enough onion for flavor. The greens that were served with it could have been better - more leafy less stalk-y.
I order the DBGB spritzer, which is a lovely concoction consisting of elderberry liqueur, sparkling wine and soda. It's served in a decanter, accompanied by a glass of ice.
The dessert was truly decadent (as you can see from my photo). There was a choice of three different one-scoop sundaes: Pumpkin yogurt, apple cider-cinnamon and bourbon chocolate. Tempted as I was by the apple cider-cinnamon, being a dedicated chocoholic, I ordered the bourbon chocolate sundae, which comes with chunks of toffee, brownie, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. And you get to eat it with a cute, shovel-shaped spoon.
Food aside, DBGB is also nice and spacious, a feeling you don't often have while dining in Manhattan.Recommended for:Foodies

I attended an awesome GogoBot lunch at DBGB and was thrilled with both the food and the company!
If you're a burger fan, I absolutely recommend The Frenchie - mine was cooked to perfection and topped with a delectable confit pork belly arugula and tomato-onion compote. The fries were crisp and delicious. The chocolate bourbon ice cream sundae was to DIE for. The portion sizes were just right and quality was so great that I was stuffed for the rest of the day!
I highly recommend checking this place out! (Try a White Cosmo!)

DBGB is a trendy restaurant downtown offering a great menu with french style dishes (their roasted chicken is fabulous). Watch out for the check though, as you'll probably be paying more than you expected!Recommended for:Trendsters

The decor is a bit too institutional and the space too large but the food and service were good during my visit. An upscale hotdog and burger joint with a mix of French and fusion options. The basil fried rice is excellent. The burgers get rave reviews. My tilefish with carrot, sumac, and blood oranges was also quite good.

Daniel strikes again, this time with a gastropub. The first we ordered after being seated was drinks. I had the strawberry beer, which was unique but the novelty quickly wore off. It was a bit too sweet for me and probably would not order again. I very much enjoyed everything else we ordered, the head cheese particularly stood out among the crowd. Try to get a booth and not table, if you're in a big group as the privacy is very nice.
