When I come to Den Haag on business, a lot of my colleagues are younger and consume larger quantities of certain adult beverages that I can ever remember trying myself. And at times when I'm normally in bed. They're talented friends and I certainly understand the Work Hard and Play Hard attitude that sometimes comes out. So why not share a wee pint with these guys? And if there's a football match on, so much the better!
De Prins Taverne (or PT) and O'Casey's are 2 popular bar choices amongst the local and expat crowd. One British friend of mine refers to his PT "Addiction". It's also the the oldest pub in The Hague, with one of the traditional rooms still in its original state. They serve good beer, honest sized portions, and it is a fun place to hang out with friendly faces so far from home.
