Dealey Plaza was made famous as the assassination site of JFK. There's a monument there, and an x in the street to mark the spot where he was shot. Conspiracy theorists gather on the grassy knoll. There's a museum to the event in the Book Depository.

Dealey Plaza is located in the historic West End district of downtown Dallas, Texas (U.S.). This is the location of the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The Dealey Plaza Historic District was named a National Historic Landmark in 1993 to preserve Dealey Plaza, street rights-of-way, and buildings and structures by the plaza visible from the assassination site, that have been identified as witness locations or as possible assassin locations.

A very eerie experience, especially at night. The economic/social significance of this spot changed the course of history. The area is pretty much the same as it was back on that November day in 1963. There is a museum nearby as well.Recommended for:History Buffs
