We're actually about to leave in an hour, but we stayed here since March 27, about 5 days & 4 nights. The place was 5 minutes away from the airport. The room we stayed in was comfy, although they had no electric kettles inside the rooms except for their king suite. No complimentary bottled water, except for welcome drinks on your first night. The pool was warm, not cold, great for night swimming. Trees and plants provide shade and some privacy. Strong free wifi if your room is nearer the pool area, weak if you stayed in our room which was the farthest. I had no 3G signal from my mobile network provider too. The pullout bed under our mattress moved around too much too. Hotel was around 30 minutes away (by tricycle) from Robinson's Place Palawan. Also, it took 2 dizzying hours by van to the famed Underground River (don't believe fixers. Tariff rate for the PPUR is Php1500/pax only). No taxis. Mode of transpo was mostly tricycles, which would have been ok, but head room is limited if you really had to sit behind Mr. Driver. Lastly, I had a good stay here, though we found (and killed) 2 small roaches in our room during the course of our stay, and scurrying sounds in the ceiling at night (I'd like to believe these are friendly woodland creatures), and a wasp nest (with actual wasps) under one of the chairs in our room's veranda.

This is a solid choice for a mid-range hotel in Puerto Princesa City. The guest rooms, which surround a large garden and swimming pool, are a good size and very clean. The hot water has good pressure and the king-size beds are comfy. The staff is helpful in arranging tours to the nearby Subterranean River National Park as well as cabs and tuk tuks to local restaurants. The gardens and pool area are a bit more run-down than the web site photos lead you to believe, but they still provide a serene atmosphere. This is not a hotel to lounge around all day and night, but it's a reasonably priced option if you just need a room for a night or two.
