Hotel Monaco Denver (A Kimpton Hotel)

Hotel Monaco Denver (A Kimpton Hotel)

    Hotel Class:
    4
    6 reviews

I'm a sucker for the Kimpton hotels, and really enjoyed my stay here. If you've been to one of the other Monaco hotels from them (SF, Chicago, etc.) then you know exactly what the decor will be. Lovely hotel, great service, and I would gladly stay here again.

This Westin has been rated as a Four diamond hotel by AAA the last four years in a row. It has a great location, right off the 16th Street Mall, and adjoining the Tabor Center shopping mall, in downtown Denver. With the 16th Street Mall free buses, you have your choice of about 15 blocks of shopping and eating free ...

Attended a ballroom event here this week. A very nice lobby, common areas and ballroom space. Valet service was also quick and courteous. This is a great central location in downtown with access to the theatre district.

    Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center

    Hotel Class:

    4 reviews

From a small cluster of tech firms, the Denver Tech Center (aka DTC) has grown into a major hub for businesses of all sorts serving the Rocky Mountain region. And if the hotels there once catered exclusively to business travelers, they now have services for families, conventions, trade shows, gala events, and more. The Hyatt Regency is the cream of ...

    JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek

    JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek

    Hotel Class:
    4
    4 reviews

The JW Marriott feels like money (and it’s located in Cherry Creek, the swanky part of town, which doesn’t hurt). It’s been decorated in high-end Western chic—turquoises, deep leather seats, animal patterns, and retro wallpaper. That, plus a roaring fireplace in the lobby where guests flip through John Fielder picture books, and staff members happily bring them refreshments. The rooms ...

    Oxford Hotel

    Hotel Class:

    4 reviews

The Oxford Hotel is one of those places you want to love: It’s historic (it opened in 1891, making it one of oldest hotels in town), it’s located in the thick of the action downtown, it’s got a killer view of the landmark Union Station, and it houses The Cruise Room, one of the best martini bars in town (my ...

    Loews Denver Hotel

    Loews Denver Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    3
    4 reviews

Loews Hotel in Denver feels kinda forgotten. Though its address is officially in swanky ‘Cherry Creek’, it’s located on the far (far) end of it, in a sea of strip malls on one of the busiest streets in metro Denver. (The immediate view is of parking lots and fast food chains if that helps.) The décor in the common areas ...

    The Warwick Denver Hotel

    The Warwick Denver Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    3
    2 reviews

From the outside, the Warwick Hotel isn’t too promising, screaming bad 70’s architecture. The lobby is marginally better, but the real wows come from the views from the upper floors. Rooms are nicely appointed (perhaps somewhat overpriced, so look for specials online) and have great views of eastern downtown. The views are even better from the rooftop pool and fitness ...
