What? I just realized I haven't given this place a review. I got the burger to go because the line to wait for a seat was 2 hours. I made my own burger with avocado, medium rare meat, chedder cheese and egg. The plus, the patty was nice and thick, but the flavor is a little dull. The meat is ...

Where else but at the Buckhorn can you try yak, rattlesnake or ostrich and nobody bats an eye at the selection? The Buckhorn Exchange is a Denver institution, and just five minutes from Downtown Denver. They've been serving food to the hungry since 1893, with one of their specialties being "Rocky Mountain Oysters" (aka bull testicles). And be warned: this ...Popular with

Yazoo owner Don Hines learned everything he knows about barbeque in Memphis and he has now delivered an authentic taste of the deep South right to downtown Denver. His signature dry-rubbed meats, cooked slowly over fresh pine grills, are succulent and packed with flavor. Try the savory pulled pork or the BoB: a bacon-wrapped, jalapeno smoked chicken breast. But plan ...Popular with

Amazing all around! I enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. Then proceeded to a complementary scotch tasting. I don't drink scotch usually but thoroughly enjoyed it. On to the steak, it was amazing and so large that I coudln't finish it. Excellent wine and a very friendly staff too. 5/5!

In January 2014, Denver mayor Michael Hancock publicly challenged New Mexico to a chili cook-off, heralding the superior flavor of his state’s Pueblo-grown green chiles while inciting capsicum-hot-and-heavy trash talk from his southwestern neighbors. See what the fuss is about at Sam’s No. 3, a Denver diner renowned for its Kickin’ Green Chili. The thick, smoky stew is made with ...Popular with

Lola's food and drinks are delicious. The Guacamole is made to order in front of you (a very nice touch), and you can customize it to your tastes. This is a good place to go with friends to catch up, and the bar area looks like it could get packed on a Friday night.Popular with

Before I had lunch at BD's the other day, I hadn't had Mongolian since I was about 12 years old. There used to be a Mongolian BBQ in my hometown and my family would always go there. When it shut down, I was disappointed. Well BD's brings it all right back. The joy of slapping together any concoction of meat ...

Benches made of skateboards, endless videos of snowboarding and really good cajun fish tacos. What's not to love? Wahoo's is heavily influenced by Colorado's culture of extreme sports and love of good food.Popular with

Row 14 is a wine bar across from the convention center that serves seasonal American food with a few Asian touches. The local, organic food is excellently prepared, though a bit heavy on the presentation. The wine list is small, but it is well thought out and pairs nicely with the food. A great dinner option in Denver.Popular with

One thing Denver does really well is gourmet cuisine at reasonable price. Jax, in the buzzing neighborhood around Union Station and Coors Field, has fresh oysters by the bushel. During happy hour they're a buck a piece.Popular with

Was my favorite restaurant in Denver as a kid. Amazing prime rib in a publike atmosphere. Seems a bit touristy now, but the food is still outstanding. Not to be missed, especially as it's in the ground floor of the Brown Palace.Popular with
