Great brunch place!!! There's a very long wait, but that's how it is with any good brunch restaurant in the area. They took our number, so they could text us when our table was ready. We were seated past our quoted wait time of an hour (I guess some guests were camping out), but were nicely greeted and sat by ...

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Denver. It serves up delicious Tapas and an even better mojito! Cool ambience at th base of the Millenium Bridge and across the street from Common Park.

Out of the way if you're a first-time visitor to Denver, but definitely worth the detour, Steuben's is a nouveau American diner where the comfort-food menu is done with panache. Fried chicken, green-chili cheeseburgers and crazy artisanal cocktails were all fab. Expect some hipster attitude from the staff, a bit of a wait at peak hours, and higher-than-average prices. But ...

I took my friend who is a sommelier for the Four Seasons here, nervous that the food and drink wouldn't live up to his high standards. How wrong I was. He was even impressed by the wine list. Try the avocado citrus salad and the pan-roasted Petaluma chicken.

    Vine Street Pub

    3 reviews

I have quite a few fond summer memories of this place, as do many other locals who live in the surrounding trendy neighborhood of Capitol Hill. For one thing, it's laid-back and friendly: large groups of people snuggle into booths to play Jenga and bluegrass musicians quietly jam in the middle of the room together. Plus, they serve great beer. ...

Small and intimate with a creative menu, Olivéa is one of my favorite places in Denver to celebrate special occasions. The menu changes according to the season, so check the website to see what they're serving. But you'll have a hard time making the wrong choice - everything that I have had was superb.

The sushi is always so fresh and delicious, and they have awesome specials on seasonal seafood. The pineapple upside down cake is amazing. Cocktails are superb and the decor is like no other restaurant in Denver.

    Osteria Marco

I went here with my wife after watching a bike race along cherry creek. The dining room feels like a quaint wine cellar. The pizzas are made from fresh ingredients and the flavor combinations are unique and memorable. The outdoor seating looks out on a busy and attractive Larimer Square.

It is said that chipotle was inspired by this chain. An only in Denver restaurant that features a really off the wall sort of vibe with good food and good beer!

What a weird and cool and totally 'Denver' place. Right in the middle of the newly hip LoHi neighborhood, Linger offers beer, cocktails and foodie-worthy small-to-medium plates of pretty fantastic fare. I tried the Pad Thai and the Mongolian BBQ Duck Buns. Yum! Bonus: In the warm months, there is a beautiful roof space that provides views of the city ...

    Comedy Works

Since 1981, this intimate downtown club in historic Larimer Square (est. 1981) has a roster that reads like a who’s who of comedy: Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne Barr, Ellen DeGeneres, Dennis Miller, Jamie Foxx, Lewis Black, and Joan Rivers, to name-drop a few. The venue has a reputation for spotting new talent, having launched the careers of many fixtures on Comedy ...

    Acorn restaurant

Every dish stood on its own. Each dish was a wonderful mix of flavors that generally stood out when necessary. I would have liked the jalapeño in the ceviche to be more prominent. I LOVED the ceviche presentation (using big spoons for each serving). We shared four light dishes & were very full (but had room to share dessert). Service ...

The north end of Larimer street is becoming one of the new it spots in Denver. Trillium, with its plush leather seating and hip vibe fits right in. What sets Trillium truly apart are Scandinavian touches like cauliflower soup, sturgeon caviar and head cheese. Basically imagine if Ikea designed a bistro.

Row 14 Bistro & Wine Bar

    3 reviews

Row 14 is a wine bar across from the convention center that serves seasonal American food with a few Asian touches. The local, organic food is excellently prepared, though a bit heavy on the presentation. The wine list is small, but it is well thought out and pairs nicely with the food. A great dinner option in Denver.

Chances are if there is a candy you loved in your childhood that you haven't found in years, you can find it at Rocket Fizz. Definitely a kooky place that fits right in with Denver hipsterism.

A new urban, hip spot in Denver. The neighborhood is currently on the edge of seedy, but the food made it worth the trip. Our server was very knowledgeable about the every changing menu. One small note-there were too many menus- small pieces of thick paper that each had drinks, happy hour specials, or food items. The mussels and marrow ...
