The Denver Aquarium is situated on the east side of Lodo near the REI and Coors Field. When my wife's family came to visit a few years back we split up one day with some of us going on a hike and others going to the Aquarium. My niece and nephew remember the sharks to this day.

This is my first speak easy visit. I like the melodrama of finding the hidden door in the bookcase and entering a darkened bar! Fun snack menu with a huge craft cocktail list. The server, Drew, was great as were his food and drink recommendations.

    Cheeky Monk

If you're into beer, this is a high end bar serving up dozens (and dozens) of Belgian beers on tap. Check out the specials--the last time I was here, they had an amazing sour beer that I'm still thinking about. Prices are high--7 to 10 bucks a drink--but the quality is definitely there. Eats are offered too but I've never ...

Denver Beer Co continues to be one of the places that I stop by whenever I'm in town. They always seem to be crazy busy, but never lack being personable and friendly.
