Go up on capitol hill order two deluxes with fries and take your food over to the counter for an amazing burger and a great people watching spot. Its one of the first things I do whenever I get back into town.

Dick's Drive-In has been around since 1954. There are no seats at Dick's; it is strictly a drive-in fast food chain specializing in burgers. I ordered the cheese burger and thought it tasted good, in a greasy-guilty-pleasure kind of way.Recommended for:

The true American Seattle classic. There's something special about a classic Dick's cheeseburger the dates back to 1960s. This is a must for any person who visit Seattle get some fries and a milkshake and you will be set!!
You can't make substitutions so just order and enjoy!
A very happening late night spot for the youngsters, if it's prom season you might see some limos drive up with kids in formal outfits, quite the show!!Recommended for:

I definitely agree that Dick's is nowhere near quality nor delicious but for the price you pay you must be joking to think you would get something fantastic quality. That just doesn't happen.
On the other hand, I think this is a GREAT place to come hang out after bars/clubs/drunkfests that involve lots of hungry people freshly out of money from buying expensive amounts of alcohol. The food here is okay and their milk shakes are actually pretty good. The fries ar a little on the soggy side and the burgers are bun heavy, a little tasteless and I would barely measure them up to McDonalds $1 cheeseburgers.
I would love a place like this in the Bay Area simply for the fact that nothing is open past 2 pm that serves a decent, cheap burger. It's SO cheap!!!
