A chain pan-Asian/dim sum spot. But this spot is in a fabulous location, with a few of the Thames, the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. On a nice day, you can sit in the outdoor patio and admire the view. Horrendously bad service, but the prices are pretty good and the food is somewhere between decent and good.

One of my favourite pubs in London. They've got an incredibly impressive selection - Over 60 beers to choose from including micro brews from the US, UK, all over Europe and even as far afield as Australia. Excellent (but slightly pricey) food as well.

I tried several times to book a table at this first restaurant of British culinary rising star - Tom Seller and failed. I finally got a table for a Wednesday evening. The food was exceptional. We had the 10-course tasting menu and it was a great treat for my palate. Before the 10 courses started, we were presented with 7 ...

The views are amazing over London and the lift is fun too - feels like a theme park ride! The food is quite rich although their signature 'Duck and Waffle' dish is very yummy. The cocktails are great too! It's 24 hours so you can come early and watch the sunrise whilst eating breakfast!

There are now about 23 of these across London, but this one a 10-minute walk from Harrods will likely always remain the smartest and most atmospheric. Although not the original branch from 1926 - that was in Soho - this one attracts a well-heeled, cosmpolitan crowd and you'll often have to wait a few minutes for a table. The cakes ...

Busy, but great lunch, food cooked to order right in front of you. Plenty if seating space upstairs and down. Just grab a card on your way in, charge your order to it and pay on your way out.

Traditional Cotswold's pub with local ales and food made from local produce. A really cozy place in the countryside. Really lovely to sit outside overlooking the rolling hills.

My favourite coffee place in the immediate vicinity. The coffee tastes great and it has a mandatory smoking sign with the seating out front, which always makes me feel special as a repeat customer, having my own spot.

Delicious. Everything from the fish to the pastas and the meat were fantastic and not insanely expensive. Simple decor, great location on the super cute Bermondsey Street. Go for the wine of the week that they recommend - it's excellent and well priced.

Champor-Champor is one of the better dining experiences I've had recently. The menu is a choice between 2 or 3 courses, with options orchid granitas as a palate cleanser, and lovely dishes like super tender ostrich, pigeon with cured fruit, and a sea bream that was musky and smoky and delicious. A decent wine list and good service, with dark ...

Local, seasonal, modern, well-lit, relaxed yet posh. That's pretty much the sum total of Village East. I had some lovely mackerel pate and a winter vegetable salad which was quite good despite being drowned in slightly too much cheese. Other than that, there's a great mix of burgers, fish dishes, whatever you fancy.

This is a fantastic coffee shop for remote working. Great wifi and lots of plugs. The layout is really fun too. Gets busy at lunchtime but perfect for morning meetings. Plus the large coffee is a BOWL.

Barbecoa is a a local butchery owned by renowned English chef Jamie Oliver. The selection and quality of meats is impressive (and pricey). Also, the amount of dried meat hanging behind the huge glass walls shows Barbecoa means business when it comes to meat.
