My coworker and I came early to camp their opening time so we wouldn't have to wait too long. This is the original location, so we wanted to try it at least once! They have an adorable xia long bao mascot statue in the front :) We ordered XLB, Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Pork Buns, and side dishes like bean ...

I actually had attended a concert here a few years ago and the acoustics were very good. It's a large, elegant and modern amphitheater built in the classic Chinese style. Even if you're not going to a concert, it's worth dropping by to see along with the national theater and Memorial Hall.

    Da An Park

0.45 mi from Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐)

This is akin to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, but more wide open space, less shrubbery. A good place to be to get away from the city life, without treking to the suburbs. Go during certain times of the year for some mild surprises/promotions/celebrations/performances. Great for a stroll, for families (there's a fairly decent kids playground there, good fun ...

One of my favorite spots in the Wanhua district. Learn about the history of the Red House theatre, and browse through creative boutique. On weekends, stalls will be set up and full of local artists wares. If it's hot, you can also grab a beer or drink around the back at one of the many bars and restaurants ( really ...

There is something for everyone at Taipei's largest park. Jogging, exercise stops, children's play area, bird watching, a nature trail, a fish filled pond (no fishing permitted), sitting areas - they are all here. A marvelous piece of nature in the middle of the city.

I agree that the location is strange for a display of flowers. However, what better use to make of the land below a freeway. The flower displays stretch on and on and include flower accessories. It's a good chance to become acquainted with the different flora in Taipei.

Amazing collections of jade. I have been told that the prices here tend to be higher than elsewhere. At the very least, one should bargain. However, worth a walk-through just to admire the pieces on display.
