Located outside the city, this place is a one hour journey by RER from the center of the city. The popularity of this place is however its undoing. You will always find it extremely crowded especially during the peak season. The two parks here have innovative rides but the waiting time is a killer.

Disneyland Paris is just another destination in my goal to visit all of the Disneylands. It doesn't quite translate to Europe since, as Eddie Izzard says about the fairy tale castles, "They got those here! The real ones!". I found the staff to be sullen and the grounds to be messy in a way that would give Walt a heart attack. It's certainly the dirtiest one I've visited.

Penguins (order Sphenisciformes, family Spheniscidae) are a group of aquatic, flightless birds living almost exclusively in the southern hemisphere, especially in Antarctica. Highly adapted for life in the water, penguins have countershaded dark and white plumage, and their wings have evolved into flippers. Most penguins feed on krill, fish, squid, and other forms of sealife caught while swimming underwater. They spend about half of their lives on land and half in the oceans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PenguinsRecommended for:Family Travelers

I have been to all of the Worlds Disney Parks except the one in China. This is my least favorite of them all. The reason is: it is more of a botanical garden than an amusement park. It is a beautiful park for the eyes, but not much adventure at all! Most of the rides there are designed for the younger set (pre-teens). The park is the equivalent to "The Magic Kingdom" in Orlando, FL. But, it has a lot less rides and most of the rides are on part with the "Fantasyland" section of that park. It is still very expensive to get into the park. So, consider these tips before visiting. :)

I have been to Disneyland Paris 4 times and never get tired of visiting. Each time I have been it has been at a different time of year (Halloween is my favorite and Christmas is a close second!) Different times of year mean that the park is decorated accordingly and the parades and parade songs/shows change too. Great fun!
