Experience a wild time at Disney's Animal Kingdom park. You'll love all the cultural food choices as well as the atmosphere it's served in. See and learn lots about exotic animals. Take a safari, ride a wild river, go back in time to the dinosaurs, scale Mt. Everest and Find Nemo - all in the same park. And that's just to start. "Lion King" show is the #1 rated show in all of Disney World. And if you like nightlife be sure to get your ticket for "Harambe Nights".Recommended for:

Seriously like a hyped up, super amazing zoo fun some of the fun rides that you can find at Disneyland in Anaheim. The animals make the park different and fun, but I enjoyed the rides the most, when I visited the Animal Kingdom.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Astro Orbiter, Buzz Lightyear's Ranger Spin, and lots of shows as well. The animals simply add to the park's amazingness. It's really cool how such a small part of Anaheim's Disneyland can be taken and molded into a giant park on its own. The potential for CA ... anyway, the park was definitely crowded, but when you're having fun, you don't really mind.Recommended for:

My Favorite Disney Park! I'm just so sad that I wasn't able to finish it in one day!
Rides (in rank order)
*Expedition Everest: Go here first to get a fast-pass.
*Kilimanjaro Safaris: go at least twice. Once during the early morning and once
*Dinosaur Ride: Indiana Jones with Dinosaurs
Shows (in rank order)
*Lion King: The BEST Show in the park. A definite must!.
*Finding Nemo: A fishy musical complete with many Nemos!
*Mickey's Jungle Jam: Disney Parade
*Flights of Wonder: Good, but you might get hit by the birds. They tend to fly very low. The host often asks for volunteers, so don't me shy!
*This is the only park where you can get Safari hats with Mickey ears!Recommended for:

I enjoy going to zoos but I really loved Animal Kingdom. The enclosures are beautiful and spacious and presented in grand Disney style. While you have your standards like lions and tigers the great thing about the park is that it also has a lot of unusual species. For example, when was the last time you saw a gerenuk at a zoo? Of course, the rides are fantastic, too. Expedition Everest is a great thrill and Dinosaur is a lot of fun.Recommended for:

You'd think by the park's name it might be all animals, but there are lots of street parties, dancing, and music. It's the largest of the four Disney World parks, so you may want to hit it in the daylight hours because the animals go to bed early. In a day, you can be chased by dinosaurs, shrink to the size of a bug, swim with Nemo, sing along to songs from The Lion King, and pose for photos with the stars of Up. Rafiki's tree is a sight to behold, with its sheer size and the creatures that occupy its every square inch. I like that you can ride through rapids that obviously will get you wet, but also make you aware of the forest-cutting damaging our planet.

There aren't as many rides at this park, but the Safari is fantastic make sure you make enough time to do it. You feel so close to the animals when they are out and about. If it's hot - take a ride on the rapids.

Disney's Animal Kingdom is themed on animal experiences from Africa, India, and Southeast Asia. The big ride is a faux safari trip but with real animals. The main restaurant has a safari theme.

Disney's Animal Kingdom forever sets the bar of what an animal park can be. I really love how the park is segmented into different themes, based more on cultural identities than animal ones. The greatest attraction, of course, is the safari ride, where a jeep takes you through a large area of freely roaming animals. It's like Jungle Cruise except ten times bigger! (And on land, obviously...)

I remember when this park first opened! It is a great addition to the Disney family that seems to add another dimension to the theme park experience! They have all types of animals from around the world all in one place!Recommended for:

Disney is unique when it comes to Animal Kingdom, a mixture of zoo, rides, shows and parades makes your day!
Go early in the morning a take the safari ride first while the animals are awake. You will see many different animals. It is a quieter park, however, have a great roller coaster not to be missed, Expedition Everest!
