I stayed here with my family on one of our stays in Disney World. I think it might be one of the lesser known and more affordable Disney Resort options. Personally, I loved it! we had our own little cabin just for the family. It was adorable! It even had a little kitchen area inside. Very nice! Disney quality!

If I ever become a camper, this is the first place I want to camp!
Honestly, I've never stayed here but I have visitied often, drank at the bar, sat on the beach, and ate at two restaurants.
My review does not take into account comments about campsites relating to ease of camping nor to hook-ups, but instead speaks of the grounds, offerings, location and sense of fun.
I love that this resort is a short boat ride from Magic Kingdom, The Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge. A visit here is a great way to break away from the noise and crowds.
Hoop De Doo Revue show is great entertainment and the Trails End Buffet is one of the best buffet deals at WDW.
Sitting on the beach at night watching the electric water pageant and the fireworks is a nice way to end an evening. Kids love to play on the beach while you relax.

•Camp out and roast marshmallows with Disney characters Chip n' Dale at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for free. The evening sing-a-long around the campfire includes a viewing of a Disney movie. Starts at 7:30 p.m.
