Disney's Hollywood Studios (formally known as Disney-MGM Studios) is probably my least favorite park in the Disney World Resort. Still, it's Disney, well-made and fun, and thus deserves five happy stars.
One attraction here totally blew my mind. It originated from a man who set up a large number of Christmas lights outside his home. Because it was so intensely awesome (I assume), they had to move it. Luckily for us, they found a home at Disney's Hollywood Studios. During the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, several blocks in the park are illuminated from floor to top with Christmas lights while fake snow is propelled into the air. To be honest, it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my lifetime.

Hollywood Studios honors the movie and TV industries and turns blockbusters into attractions. It´s not my favorite park at Disney but I love coming here for Rock´n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror rides and Beauty and The Beast show.

Traipsing around Hollywood Studios is a bit like having a backstage pass, complete with memorabilia from classics, a movie shoot of car-chase scenes, and characters that hang out all day rather than appear at timed intervals (which is nice since you don't have to plan your day around character appearance schedules). Between Indiana Jones' behind-the-scenes stunts, a live Beauty and The Beast performance, Jedi training for kids, and actual auditions/voting for the American Idol Experience, it's a nice balance of activities for both kids and grownups.

This is a great park for the young and old together!
Rock-N-Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror are the favorite thrill rides at this park. My daughter rode Tower of Terror at 3 years old and loved it--that doesn't mean that it is for a 3 year old but it does mean it's possible. Evaluate your child's desires before you decide they can go on a thrill ride. Forcing their unwillingness can make a day at the park difficult.
That aside, there is plenty here that entertains the whole family. Muppet Vision 3D is a delight to everyone as is the Indiana Jones Stunt show.
Grab a cocktail at the Tune-In Lounge and sit on a bench by the lake to enjoy a little people-watching while relaxing. There are street entertainers everywhere to provide you with an impromtu comedy show.
Shopping and restaurants are also fantastic here. My favorite table service restaurant would be The Brown Derby.
Enjoy seeking out hidden treasures within this park by being observant and taking in your surroundings. It is magical.

Absolutely spectacular especially during the Christmas season. The shows at the specific country designed buildings the fun rides the shows, makes for a wonderful day. Its great for adults and very kid friendly and family friendly as well. It is however difficult to complete in one day unless you arrive very early and leave very late at closing and also with proper planning.
