Awesome time. Hotel location right across Disneyland. How cool is that? Out room was themed in Mickey Mouse. We enjoyed it so much. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in some restaurant guides at Downtown Disney. The pool was clean and fun to hang.
Location was just the best parr of it all. Expensive? Yes. Doesn't even come with a complimentary breakfast for that expensive price. We do have at least a real good coffee maker from cuisinart in our room. Great coffee and tea samplers.

Not sure if Disney is trying to capture the feel of nearby Santa Monica or of an Eastern seaside resort. They've done their typically comprehensive good job of revamping the former Sheraton (I think) into the Disney style. Surprisingly quiet for an older hotel, and all the employees -- er, I mean cast members -- I dealt with were fast, friendly and helpful. If you can afford a cut above the non-Disney properties surrounding the park, Paradise Pier is the cheapest of the three Disney properties and if you search for a code or coupon deal it'll make your stay even sweeter. Did not order room service or use spa amenities so cannot speak for those aspects.

I took my son here a few years ago for a weekend at Disneyland and California Adventure. I then stayed on as part of a Convention I was attending.
The elevators were a little dodgy even then. Past that, we enjoyed the room, the hotel restaurants, the pool area outside and room service! Along with the amusement parks experience, it was one of those father-son experiences that I will treasure for a very long time.

There are 3 Disney Hotels in Anaheim and this is the least expensive of the 3.
It is really basic accomodations and of course perfect for families.
I love that is has a private entrance into the California Adventure Park.
If you are on a budget but still want a Disney experience this is a great place.

A couple notches below neighboring Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, this is still a nice place to stay. Dine with Mickey and Goofy in their surf themed restaurant and kids can get their photo taken with them.Recommended for:Family Travelers

It was just OK. The service was friendly and there was nothing wrong really, the place just seemed dated, the amenities low quality and the pool overly crowded. I should have taken my friend's advice and stayed at the Grand Californian, which is pricier but nicer.

We stayed here a few years ago on a vacation to Disneyland and considering the price that we paid, we were woefully unimpressed. There were no morning food options at the hotel unless you pre-booked a character breakfast and once inside California's Adventure we realized that there were no food options open early either. The room was just average - nothing that we couldn't get at any number of lower priced hotels outside of the park. If we stay at a Disney property again, we would do the Grand Californian Hotel which apparently is much nicer and closer to the entrance.

I enjoyed this hotel very much. Especially since I had a view overlooking California Adventure.
It's the farthest Disney hotel from Downtown Disney and thus the entrance to the parks, but it's not a very long walk. Still enjoyable.
The room was comfortable, the character breakfast service was fun and enjoyable.
