This is a beautiful resort. The grounds are lovely. And that's nice. Because, everything is a long walk. The pool is beautiful. The movies outside are a nice touch as well. Buses are slow though. And while it is really pretty, it doesn't feel as "Disney" to me as some of the other resorts.

Taking this resort and putting it in a location closer to one of the parks would make me like this resort one star more. The location isn't too bad--at least it's close to Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon. However, a trip to the parks on Disney's transportation is similar to travelling from the All Stars Resorts meaning it is a little longer than other resorts.
Travelling within Saratoga Springs can be a bit lengthy as well since this is a sprawling resort.
The grounds here are beautiful and pleasant to walk through. This resort has the most complete spa and workout facility which is clean with plenty of equipment, fresh towels and cold water.
The main pool, which is by the main building, I consider second to only Stormalong Bay as the rock formations around it make it adventurous looking. They have movies and games down by the pool as well. There are also less eventful quiet pools closer to the individual sections of the resort.
The gift shop is also connected to a sort of mini food court where you can not only pick up snacks, sandwich fixings and drinks to bring back to your room but you can also pick up a hot meal cafeteria-ish style. I've had some delicious roasted chicken from here:)
There is also golf and decent sit-down restaurants.
You can hop on a boat that will take you to Downtown Disney or over to Old Key West or Port Orleans.
If walking to Downtown Disney, it would take about 10 to 20 minutes depending on where you are staying within the resort.
I would definitely stay here again if I wanted the feel of one of the luxury resorts at a lesser price but was willing to put up with the location not being close to one of the parks.
