My favorite of the water parks in the area. Blizzard Beach is an interesting concept but Typhoon Lagoon had more to do. I really loved the huge artificial wave pool! I thought that was a really neat concept for the park.

Typhoon Lagoon is my second favorite water park. Disney does a great job balancing family, adult, and kids areas without putting up barriers. Typhoon Lagoon does feel a bit small to me, but there is plenty to do here.
The theming is fun. The wave pool is almost always crowded, but worth spending time in. Crush 'n Gusher and Humunga Kowabunga are great. This is a great spot to cool down, especially during the summer months.

Out of the two Disney water parks, this is probably my favourite! There are slides and all there, but the other many activities I found pretty much had no waiting times needed whatsoever. The lazy river you could spend ages in, just chilling in your donut, circling the park, which can be quite addictive, despite the high-energy activities that surround it. I can now also say that I've swam with sharks too, even though it doesn't quite match up to expectations. The highlight of the park though has to be under the shipwrecked boat in the huge pool below - the tsunami! The world's largest outdoor wave pool unleashes a six foot wave and the force behind any of the bobbing waves is really fun to be swept back in! I just love this water park and would happily visit it again.

From what I can recall, this park wasn't a major buzz. We spent a half day and the weather was bad. Can't blame it but the water park didn't feature too much slides like Blizzard Beach. The thing that I liked is the huge wave that splashes every 5 minutes in the pool, everybody waits it.
