I toured this resort Nov 2011 as a travel agent and really liked it! It is right on the tip of Cancun open to the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. This location can make the resort a bit windy and the beach a little small with the tide, but Dreams Cancun makes up for it with great pools, awesome food/bars, pretty rooms and Dolphins! I would choose a dolphin view room if given the choice, there is a hammock on the balcony where you can relax and watch them swim right outside!

This all-inclusive resort was one of my favorites in Cancun. Although I didn’t swim with the dolphins on this trip, I spent a lot of time hanging out near the lagoon watching them. The staff here was super friendly and you can tell there are guests that have been returning to this same resort for many years by the relationships you see between some guests and staff. Overall it was a happy, fun, positive energy filled resort. The location is great because it is right on the point near the center of the hotel zone. Yet you have two private beaches on either side of the property with swimming, or other fun water sport options. All of the snorkeling, kayaking, water rock climbing wall, and trampoline are all included in the price too.

Dreams Cancun is a beautiful all-inclusive resort that has the best of both worlds (of quiet seclusion and of lively out-on-town vibes) Located at the end of the main avenue in a cul-de-sac, Dreams is only minutes walking distance away from the vibrant night & day life in Hotel Zone Cancun. YET, it is worlds away with its own private stretch of beaches and vast grounds.
Service is great as are the amenities and food offerings. We love how the 24-hour room service is included as part of the all-inclusive package. There are several other beach front restaurants on premise to choose from and they offer everything from Asian fusion, to traditional Mexican, to American, to local fresh catch.
The most memorable and best feature of the resort is the salt water lagoon where guests can book time to swim and play with the dolphins. The lagoon is right on premise so it is very safe. Also rooms with the lagoon views will get to hear and see the dolphins all the time. This is definitely a favorite for the kiddies and the kiddies in all of us.Recommended for
