I really liked Dreams Riviera Cancun—the bright rooms have a style that mixes mid-century with the South Pacific, and just ooze cool luxury. The grounds are just as nice—a bit overrun with guests when I was there in June 2012—but still lovely. There are lots of pool options and the beach is wide and long so a lack of loungers or places to relax, didn’t seem to be a problem. Nine restaurants, many with outdoor seating options, made it tough to get tired of the food too. And the service, while certainly busy, was attentive. The only downer was the popularity of the place; it’s tough to ding a hotel, though, for doing such a good job at attracting and keeping its clients!Recommended for:

Resorts are a big deal, this one has it all; it's simple because there's a unique bracelet key, you pay at the beginning choosing a plan and there aren't a thousand payments to make. It's enjoyable, tequila table at the restaurants is impressive, lots of varieties and styles, helpful people is everywhere to be found and you can just relax and enjoy the sun

The theme here is Polynesian, starting with the soaring pagoda-style lobby and reception area, with curved wooden beams and oversized fans. Rooms are designed to be reminiscent of Tiki huts, with the bed in the middle of the room, a polygonal bank of windows (and glass doors opening onto a deck) in front, and the sink and bathrooms and closet space directly behind, separated by a barrier. If it sounds strange, wait until you get there—it’s actually pretty cool, and a welcome change from the cookie-cutter rooms at most all-inclusives. A long raised wooden platform leads from the lobby to the pool and beach areas. The main pool is small compared to most resorts, but has an infinity edge facing the ocean, a long pool bar on the other side; there are a handful of side pools as well. The beach is gorgeous, and the food varied and tasty.

Most of the restaurants were passable.
The service was good throughout the resort.
It was starange that the food in the Mexican restaurant wasnt good at all.
I mean its Mexico...Right?
I saw lots of families and the beach had the powdery white sand that Cancun is so famous for.
This is also not on the main hotel row.
It is on the outskirts in an area called the Riviera Maya.Recommended for:
