Wow! I highly recommend this luau. The dancers were skilled and beautiful to watch. The Samoan fire knife dance was one of the most impressive feats I've seen! The imu pork was juicy and delicious and there was plenty to go around. Great food, amazing show.

Being one of the fanciest hotels on Maui, the Hyatt Regency prides itself on offering it's guests some of the island's top quality services. One such effort that they take great care in conducting is the Drums of the Pacific Luau. Proceeding nightly, this beautifully arranged evening event has an open bar, a huge buffet spread, and some of the most energetic and authentic luau performers in Maui. They take you through a sampling of various dance techniques from all over Polynesia, that are topped off by a show-stopping fire knife dance. Your friendly and comical host, along with the Hawaiian band and attentive servers, help make this a truly memorable experience that more than lives up to the expectations of this luxury hotel.

music coming from onstage, is sure to get the "aloha"flowing. Before things have a chance to get too rambunctious, the feast kicks off with the uncovering of the Emu Pig and the opening of the buffet. A wide variety of delicious Hawaiian cuisine is yours to enjoy as much as you like, and after everyone is served and has had time to eat, the real show begins. The spectacle put on by the performers here is overflowing with cultural and entertainment value. They preform a variety of dances from the various nations of Polynesia; including a mind blowing fire knife dance. With a beautiful setting and attentive and professional staff, the Drums of the Pacific Luau is easily one of Maui's best.
