    Jumeirah Public Beach

    10 reviews

One of the better places in Dubai to enjoy the beach. The views of the architecture nearby are a major plus and the location is perfect for exploring Madinat Jumeirah, the Burj Al Arab or the Jumeirah Beach Resort.

Khalid Bin Al Waleed Metro Station 2

    United Arab Emirates
    8 reviews

The metro system was just so clean and well keep. I wonder why New Yorkers cant keep there system so well maintained and clean. It was a shock at the level of duty and pride people in this city had for the public property and also how well mannered and behaved they all were. They were just so helpful, and ...

    Cavalli club

Fairmont Hotel - Sheikh Zayed Rd - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
    8 reviews

Cavalli Club is elegant and has the 'Bling' factor! Cavalli was launched by the fashion designer Robert Cavalli and the place certainly lives up to his name! Zebra print chairs, many suspended chandeliers made with Swarovski crystals in a mostly black arena dimly lit with purple lights. Cars that pull up in front are Ferrari's, Aston Martins etc.. you don't ...

    Lake Khalifa Dubai

Dubai Mall, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
    6 reviews

This man made lake next to the Burj Khalifa is a great place for people watching or taking photos of the Burj Khalifa. Disneyesque in scale and artificiality but fun to see the locals (and plenty of tourists) enjoying themselves.

    Emirates Golf Club

Off Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai United Arab Emirates
    6 reviews

The Majlis is a superlative course, the best in Dubai (by a hair) over Creek. Long, tough and fair. The Faldo is a good course, although compared to its brother it plays as more of an afterthought. We found the landscape relatively spartan and the setup to be a bit unfair. If you're playing only once, spend the extra $$ ...

    Dubai Creek

PO Box 6302 - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
    9 reviews

Dubai creak is a busy place with working merchant boats, water taxis, and dinner cruises fighting for space. It's a great way to see the older parts of town. Take one of the cruises, perhaps as part of the Big Bus Tour which includes it with the basic package.

I love this place! I actually like it by day more than by night - the actual beach vibe is awesome. It's closed for most of the very hot months, but open for the rest of the year. Highly recommended, this is one of my favorite spots in Dubai!

    Souq Madinat Jumeriah

    Dubai, United Arab Emirates
    5 reviews

The gentrified version of an Arabian souq sanitized and cleansed for your comfort and convenience. The Venetian canals incongruously juxtaposed with Yemeni style stone towers and the great sail of the Burj Al Arab, an architectural lark looming out over the Persian Gulf could only all come together in one place - Dubai.

    Palm Jumeirah

    5 reviews

Fascinating from an engineering perspective but, on the ground, there is very little to see or explore here. Best viewed from the sky -- Burj Al Arab has some decent views. Loses its magic up close and feels like a Mc Suburb.

    Diera Gold Souq

    7 reviews

Strolling through the dizzying old streets of Deira, you don’t expect to run into an array of glittering gold and glistening gems. In the heart of the old district lays the historic Gold Souk with a renovated arched wooden roof. Browsing through this souk felt almost comical to me as merchants whispered “Gucci, Prada, Versace…” as I walked past, trying ...
