    Old Jameson Distillery

Bow Street, Smithfield Village, Dublin 7

    24 reviews

The Jameson Distillery is a must do attraction in Dublin. Enjoy a glass of Jameson during your short wait for the tour to start. After the interesting video that kicks off the tour, make sure to be a volunteer for something that comes at the end of the tour (they wont tell you, and neither will I, but its fun!).

We were hungry after a long walk and stopped in for a great hearty meal. Both the Irish stew and the Irish burger were excellent! The best stew, with the biggest chunks of meat we had in Dublin.

    Grand Canal

A perfect place for a long walk in Dublin. Start in the Docklands on foot or bike and follow the path along the canal all the way around the south side of the city. You can go on for miles (far beyond the city, in fact) so be sure to plan your route beforehand. The canal isn't used much any ...

Massive park with a couple castles, the papal cross, the Deerfield residence, the Wellington memorial and some native deer. It's on the bus tour route, but you can easily spend a day exploring. I went in December which was just too cold.
