If you go to Dubois make sure to bring a fun flotation device and a picnic! We have lived in Jupiter for 30 years and we have taken our children and our grandchildren to Dubois Park for what we have dubbed "Jupiter River Rafting". When the tide comes in and out of the Jupiter inlet, the inland river at Dubois really picks up speed. On the inward tide you get swept about 1/2 mile into the inland salt water lake, a great place for the kids to see some little crabs and sea life in the mangroves lining the shores, on the outward bound tide you get swept from the lake toward the inlet to the guarded lagoon area they have recently constructed there. Most of the locals know of this great spot with many picnic areas sprinkled around the shady shores. It's a must do spot! Afterwards, head back to Shadey Acres for a dip in the pool and heated spa and a relaxing dinner on the Lanai.Recommended for:Family Travelers
