Wow. If you want an incredibly delicious - but not at all healthy - lunch or dinner, Duckfat is the place to go. Their sandwiches, flatbreads, and even the bhan mi are all really incredible, and rich, and delicious. And the epnymous duckfat-fried french fries (with choices of condiments like horseradish mayo and truffle ketchup) are beyond tasty. Get here early though - really early - because there's always always a wait. Probably the longest wait in Portland.

Fries fried in duckfat. Sandwiches are tasty too. Local brews on tap. Limited seating - so perhaps get a cone of fries to take with.

New restaurant in Portland that cooks all their food in duck fat! It sounded a little bit gross at first, but the food was hearty and delicious. A good mix of options between really dense foods and lighter options. The BGT (Bacon, Goat Cheese, Tomato) panini was incredible, definitely worth a trip. Only down side was a bit of a wait and the fries were SO rich and salty - probably better that way because I could only eat a dozen or so!

Poutine is a must. Plus good selection of local beers.
